New manufacturing facility to complement LITEONMOBILE portfolio

The subassembly service provides an EMS platform for all major commodities within LOM by integrating electronic mechanics know-how to deliver needed sales items to our customers with a more efficient supply chain setup.

The subassembly service starts with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) production. SMT is critical to final end-state in mobile device manufacturing, which is driven by the needs of both customers and today’s competitive market. This demands also production process consolidation. Production in the new SMT facility will start during Q4 2009 upon completion of the final piloting projects.
